1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Doneward iOS application and website. By downloading, testing, purchasing, or using Doneward, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What Doneward is
Doneward is a private iPhone utility for capturing voice notes and turning them into transcripts, summaries, action items, reminders, calendar blocks, and a searchable local library. Doneward may also support capture from Apple Watch, Siri, Shortcuts, widgets, Lock Screen controls, and other Apple platform surfaces.
Doneward is a productivity tool. It is not a medical, legal, financial, emergency, or professional-advice service.
3. Purchases, trials, and billing
Doneward may offer a free trial, a one-time lifetime unlock, or other App Store purchase options. Exact pricing and purchase terms are shown in the app before you buy.
Apple processes App Store payments, refunds, taxes, billing information, and purchase confirmations. We do not receive your credit card number or Apple ID password.
To request a refund, use Apple's purchase support at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot process App Store refunds directly.
4. TestFlight and pre-release use
If you use Doneward through TestFlight, you understand that the app is pre-release software. Features may be incomplete, change, break, or be removed before public release. Do not rely on TestFlight builds for critical records or time-sensitive obligations.
5. Your content
Your recordings, transcripts, summaries, actions, tags, and exported files remain yours. You are responsible for the content you record, save, route, export, or share through Doneward.
You grant Doneward permission to process your content on your device, through Apple system features, and through destinations you choose, solely to provide the app features you request.
6. Apple system features and generated output
Doneward may use Apple Intelligence, speech features, Reminders, Calendar, Siri, Shortcuts, Apple Watch, and other Apple platform capabilities. Availability and behavior depend on your device, region, language, iOS version, Apple settings, and permissions.
Transcripts, summaries, and action suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review output before relying on it, sending it elsewhere, or creating reminders or calendar events from it.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Doneward to violate the law, harass others, or create harmful content.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code except where allowed by law.
- Bypass purchase checks, rate limits, permissions, or platform restrictions.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Doneward or any paid unlock.
- Use Doneward in a way that violates Apple's terms or applicable third-party terms.
8. Intellectual property
Doneward, including its name, design, code, interface, branding, and related materials, is owned by its developer or licensors. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use Doneward on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store rules.
9. No warranty
Doneward is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that Doneward will be uninterrupted, error-free, available on every device, or that summaries, transcripts, reminders, calendar events, or action suggestions will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Doneward and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost data, missed reminders, missed calendar events, lost profits, or loss of goodwill.
Our total liability for any claim related to Doneward is limited to the amount you paid for Doneward through Apple in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
11. Termination
You may stop using Doneward at any time by deleting the app and, if applicable, managing purchases through Apple. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms or use Doneward in a harmful or unlawful way.
12. Apple's role
These Terms are between you and Doneward, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Doneward or its content. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you where applicable.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
14. Dispute resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or Doneward will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Snohomish County, Washington, unless applicable law or Apple's required terms provide otherwise. You and Doneward consent to those courts' jurisdiction.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms as Doneward evolves. The Last updated date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of Doneward after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
